What you need
fl oz oil

fl oz pickle juice

fl oz mayo

tsp salt

garlic

tsp paprika

fl oz worcestershire sauce

pepper

fl oz ketchup

dash caramelized onion

lb ground beef

cup american cheese

head white onion

cup pico de gallo
Instructions
1. Caramelize the white onion 'low n slow'. 2. Grate the garlic. 3. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, half of the caramelized onion, shredded American cheese, salt, pepper, grated garlic, and pickle de gallo to create the dumpling filling. 4. To make the burger sauce, mix mayo, ketchup, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic, one small scoop of the caramelized onions, salt, and pepper. 5. Take about 1.5 tbsp of the beef mixture and place it into a dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper and seal it. 6. Cover the folded dumplings with a damp paper towel to prevent drying until you are ready to steam them. 7. Steam the dumplings until cooked through. 8. Optionally, for a crispy bottom, pan fry the steamed dumplings in a little oil until golden and crispy on one side. 9. Serve the Smash Burger Dumplings with the prepared burger sauce.View original recipe
