CHEWY GRANOLA BAR DUPE

Not gonna lie I ate 6 of these today. I used to loooooove the original Chewy granola bars as a kid. They were the perfect post-soccer game snack after scoring ZERO goals. Hahaha not lying I played soccer for like 4 years and I scored ZERO goals except for ONE and it was in the wrong goal. I scored on my own team. That was when I switched to dance. BACK THE TO THE BARS. these are vvvv good and made with 7 good, wholesome ingredients. ❤️

What you need

cup cashew butter

tsp vanilla extract

tsp cinnamon

tbsp coconut oil

cup dark chocolate chips

cup rolled oats

tsp table salt

cup creamy peanut butter

tbsp water

cup raw cashews
Instructions
In a small sauce pan, add your PB/cashew butter, coconut oil, honey, & vanilla and heat on low until coconut oil is melted and mixed in. In a large bowl mix your oats, chopped cashews, cinnamon and salt. Add peanut butter mixture to the oat mixture and mix well. Add 3 tbsp of water and mix again, this is just to soften up the oats a bit. I said fuck it and used my hands to finish mixing here. Set aside and let rest for at least 30 minutes before adding the choco chips so they don’t melt. Once cooled, stir in chocolate chips. Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper and press your mixture down until evenly flat. Refrigerate overnight (or for at least a few hours, but best if overnight), and cut into granola bars!
