Homemade pistachio butter made with only a few ingredients, easier than finding it in stores.

What you need

tbsp olive oil
tsp ground cinnamon
tbsp maple syrup

cup shells
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lay pistachios on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, stirring half way through. Let cool for 10 minutes and transfer to a food processor with a pinch of salt (referring to the 1/2 tsp listed). In total this will take about 10 minutes of processing time, but you’ll want to stop frequently to scrape down the sides and give the food processor a break to cool down. Trust the process - it’ll turn into a flour, then a dough, and then a paste. Add in your syrup and cinnamon and mix for 5 seconds (it will turn back into a dough ball if you mix too long due to oils from the nuts mixing with maple syrup). If this happens, add 1-2 tbsp of olive oil to balance it back out. Put into a jar and enjoy however you damn well please!View original recipe
