What you need

cinnamon

tbsp butter

pinch salt

cup brown sugar

cup vanilla wafers
lemon zest
slice bread loaf

cup honey

tbsp unsalted butter

ripe banana

pinch ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375F. For the Crispy Honey Bread: Mix your softened butter, brown sugar, honey, and a pinch of salt until it’s a paste consistency. Slice your bread into 1-inch slices and cut off the edges to square it off. Spread the paste in a thin layer covering the entire piece of bread (front, back, sides, everything). Bake at 375F for 11 minutes, then flip and bake again for 6 minutes. Set on a wire baking rack to cool. For the Bananas Foster: Slice your bananas and set aside. In a pan, add the brown sugar and cold butter (cut into slices). Keep your heat ON LOW; if your mixture gets too cold it will split. Continue stirring until butter and sugars are melted. Add in your bananas and cook for about 3 minutes. Add in Licor 43 and light with a match or torch to burn off the alcohol. Add in cinnamon, a pinch of salt, and lemon zest. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken slightly. To Serve: Serve your crispy honey butter toast with vanilla ice cream, top with the bananas foster, and then optionally add vanilla wafer crumbs and an extra pinch of cinnamon.
