What you need

tbsp sweet butter
cup pistachio

honey

tbsp maple syrup

french bread
Instructions
Cut your onion in half and thinly slice. In a large pan melt 2 tbsp of butter on low. Add in your onions and being to caramelize (low and slow. Lots of stirring. Patience is key here!) you will caramelize these for about 25/30 mins until they are light brown in color. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Add in 1c of craisins and 3/4c water to your onions, stir well, and cover to rehydrate the craisins. After 5 mins, add in maple syrup and use a fork to roughly mash some of your craisins. If water is evaporated, remove from heat. Place your brie on an oven safe plate, or cookie sheet with parchment paper. Use a knife to GENTLY score the top layer of your brie. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Place brie on a plate with edges (it will ooze), top with chutney, crushed pistachios, and honey. Serve with toasted bread or crackers!View original recipe
