A simple and delicious banana simple syrup, perfect for flavoring coffees and matchas. It lasts for weeks in the fridge and adds a unique sweetness to your drinks.

Mash bananas. Add mashed bananas, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, pinch of salt, brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of water to a pot and simmer for 15 minutes. Add in the remaining 1/2 cup of water and simmer for another 15 minutes. Strain the syrup and set it in the fridge. Use in coffees and matchas.
